"The road to 5 plates"




7/28/2008 Half Squat - 390 lbs x 5 sets x 3 reps





This video was taken on 7/28/2008. I am working on building up to 405 lbs on the half squat. Once I hit that mark I will start moving the pins down on my power rack to increase the range of motion.




12/17/2007 Squat - 250 lbs x 40 reps





This video was taken on 12/17/2007. It was my final attempt for the year at my goal of 250 lbs x 50. I made it to 40, which was the highest I have ever made with that weight but I still missed it by 10 reps. Next years goal is 275 lbs x 50 reps.




12/24/2007 Squat - 330 lbs x 5 sets x 3 reps





This video was taken on 12/24/2007. I hit my goal of 330 lbs x 5 sets of 3 reps. I rest 30 seconds between each set. It is kind of like a giant rest pause set. I will be increasing my goal for next year to 365 lbs x 5 sets x 3 reps.




8/27/2007 Squat 240 lbs x 26 reps





A previous effort of high rep squats. Hit 240 lbs for 26 reps.




8/20/2007 Squat 310 lbs x 5 sets x 3 reps





A previous effort on my 5 sets of 3 reps. Hit 310 lbs at this workout.
